What we do Scratchpad Studio offers original digital prints by Deborah W. Campbell. In addition to creating her own artwork, Deborah does digital restoration and preservation of old or damaged photographs, drawings and documents for a variety of clients. Her prints include Maryland scenes, island locations, sports art and underwater photography. She also creates one-of-a-kind custom sports prints for clients who provide her with photograph(s) they have taken of their favorite player in action. Our business history Scratchpad Studio has been operating since January of 1998, marketing Deborah's artwork through direct mail catalog sales, display advertising in art publications, juried art competitions and exhibitions, art gallery sales, this website and (happily!) by word of mouth.
About the artist The business was started by Deborah W. Campbell, a lifelong resident of Maryland. Deborah is an avid photographer, shooting both on the land and under the sea. She travels to several SCUBA diving destinations each year to photograph fish and other aquatic creatures. And Deborah is one of just a few people in the United States creating action artwork featuring lacrosse, her favorite sport.
